It all started with Anne from Australia, and Rosemary from Canada. These two women, camped across the world from each other, were keeping a concerned and watchful eye on our Falcon family and chatting about their comings and goings. The chicks had been alone for the better part of one afternoon recently, and they were concerned. They contacted me to alert us that something could be wrong with the parents.

There had been workmen in the area, and that had concerned the Mom. All was well, but ... "What a great idea!", we thought. We could allow others to do the same thing.

... and so, welcome to our IRC Server.

1. Wait for the Applet window to show itself above these instructions.
2. Set your nickname in the applet window, and then join the discussion by clicking on the connect button.
3. Two windows will open (be patient). The first can be minimized once the chat is running to make more room.
4. You may want to resize the chat window in the usual manner for resizing windows (grab the lower right corner, click and drag) and
5. You should also set the chat windows low in this frame so you can continue to view the pictures (click title bar (displays "#falcons"), drag and release mouse) .
